'Bipolar relationship??'

Hi,

I was dating this guy for a while until he broke up with me for the second time. He has most if not all of the characteristics that a bipolar patient would have. He did not tell me that he had bipolar, but he told me that he was under a lot of stress, so his doctor gave him medication that constantly made him sleep. He would always have mood swings, he would be in great mood one minute then, half an hour later he would be upset and would be concerned about things he shouldn't be. He would constantly say he doesn't want to make my life miserable in the future because of his problems. Which he would never tell me his problems. I'm exactly not sure if he is bipolar, but he has most of its symptoms and the fact that he said he was taking medications got me thinking. Can it be possible for him to be bipolar??
